Hosta ‘White Feather’ is an unusual Hosta. Its large, cream-white leaves mature to a lush green. Spays of lavender-blue flowers appear in summer. ‘White Feather’ has a compact habit and is perfect for growing in pots and at the front of the shady herbaceous border.

Growing Conditions Hostas grow best in moist soils and benefit from a yearly mulch of well-rotted manure, leafmould or compost. They are also well suited to growing in containers, as long as the compost doesn’t dry out.

Soil – Chalky / Alkaline / Clay / Heavy / Moist / Well Drained / Light / Sandy
Position– Dappled shade, full shade, partial shade

Pruning: The white feather plantain lily can be pruned in a few different ways. You can deadhead them by using sharp shears to cut the flower stalks near the plant base, or they can be cut back after the first frost
